As Executive Vice President of Operations, Trip McDermott serves in a key senior leadership position overseeing operations across Verano’s 14 cultivation and processing facilities and distribution activities spanning the company’s active 13-state footprint. In this pivotal role, McDermott collaborates with the executive leadership team and leaders across all functions of the organization to drive excellence in standard operating procedures that deliver Verano’s suite of high-quality products across the company’s 120+ flagship Zen Leaf and MÜV dispensaries and third-party retail partners. Prior to joining Verano, McDermott spent nearly seven years as Director of Business Development and Corporate Strategy for Dixie Brands, a Denver-based cannabis company that produces a range of products including THC- and CBD-infused beverages, edibles, tinctures, topicals, and extractions.
