
Julian Scaff

Julian Scaff is a designer, educator, futurist, filmmaker, electronic musician and media artist. A native of California, he has been a professional designer for more than 20 years working for many tech companies and non-profits. Julian has taught at universities in the United States, Europe and the Middle East. He is the author of several artist books, has published numerous articles on design and sustainability, and has exhibited his art and design work in exhibitions internationally. He has BA in Media Studies from Pitzer College, an MA in Film and Television from UCLA, an MFA in Art and Design from the Dutch Art Institute, and a certificate in Human-Computer Interaction from MIT. In 2015 Julian gave a TEDx talk at TEDxCrenshaw titled Designing Change for Good. Julian is Associate Professor of Interaction Design at Art Center College of Design, and also teaches in the Graduate Transportation Systems and Design program.
