Christopher Leavitt is a tissue culture scientist and plant breeder who is passionate about all things plant science. He is the co-founder and CSO at Node Labs, a cannabis tissue culture laboratory, phenohunting and plant breeding company, as well as the principal breeder for Compound Genetics, a prominent cannabis seed and flower brand. He has experience in tissue culture protocol development for cannabis, poplar trees, wine grapes, berries, and endangered plant species. He also runs a medicinal plant research company called Bliss Biosciences. He is an alumni of the University of Vermont, where he studied Evolutionary Biology.
